Your computer working slower 4 major reasons to know

Your wonder if your system is slower than it is entitled to be with the age it has mounted over the years. The reason could be a malware. To learn what it can do, read on.

1.       Run too many programs without you being aware

When too many program run simultaneously -even on regular days- your system is bound to react and process slow, because it is trying on its capacities. So think what a malware can do with so many secretive and deceptive acts to perform with the help of various programs it comes loaded with. Various malware, like spyware, are known to do exactly that. If you suspect your system is slow due to the activities of one of them, try checking what all is running on your system with the help of Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt +Del keys), and stop whatever you suspect and think unnecessary. And let your Anti-Spyware Software do the rest of the task (Note: Do not include the processes undertaken by your antivirus, because it also scans at the same time to prevent any malware to attack, causing system to slow).

2.        Fragment the Hard Drive more than you can

Disk fragmentation is a natural when so many files are being created and deleted, but beware! Even a malware under cover can be deleting and creating files it needs to perform the tasks it was created for. The result in both the cases is however, same. Your PC gets extremely slow. To control fragmentation, keep using Disk Defragmentation utility of the Windows. As for the malware part of this story, install best performing anti-malware.

3.        Mess with the Windows Registry

Whatever you do on your computer, it gets recorded in the centralized database of your system, commonly referred to as Registry. Since so much data is access on the daily basis, be it related to hardware or software, registry can get corrupted, go missing, or get bloated if not anything else. There are other cases when it might be recording completely invalid and outdated ones, generated by the malware; one can just keep guessing what all these malicious piece of programs can do to a system. To save from such problems to leave a deep impact, use any registry cleaner tool available, along side of antivirus software, to double the precaution.

4.       Cause available RAM to get insufficient

Your system memory comes as per the specs sold by the company. Sometimes, this much is sufficient, but it may not if some other programs lime malware is consuming it without you actually aware of the fact. Some new programs or high-end software might also consume it more than you though, but malware can also be a probable reason if you are not using such RAM consuming software yourself. Your only hope is anti-malware software.
