Ransomware is a harmful computer virus detected as Ransomware. It is mainly created by hackers to get into
the system of innocent users along with free downloads and trick their money. It
locks system files and demands ransom (money) in return to free the files. The malware can enter system if a user opens
any spam email attachment or clicks on suspicious links. If however it manages
to enter your system you will notice it immediately as the wallpaper of your
system will be changed and you will not be able to access your photos, videos,
songs or any other file. The various other activities that can be seen are:
- Locks important files.
- Blocks execution of certain apps.
- Sends scary messages and demanding money.
- Slows down the system.
