Fiber.js is a
malware program that gets into the system through third party installers. When
users download any software or file from malicious websites, fiber.js gets
installed in the system along with that, without seeking permission.
Once it enters a system, it changes
browser settings, tricks user for installing other malicious program or
generates unwanted pop-up ads in the browser. It may even redirect the user to
malicious sites or produce fake advertisements that are aimed to generate
revenue per click.
